Your desk stays on your iPhone.

This policy explains what RapidbitBasic (“the app”, “we”) does with information. In short: we don’t collect personal data, and what you record stays on your iPhone.

1. Information we collect

   None. The app has no accounts or sign-in, and it contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software. We do not sell or share personal data, and we do not track you across apps or websites.

2. Information stored on your device

   Your desk (desk cash, holdings, open orders and history), your favorites, your alerts and a cached copy of reference prices and coin logos are stored locally in the app’s storage on your iPhone. They are not sent to us. Deleting the app removes them. A CSV export is created only when you choose Export, and goes only where you choose to share it.

3. Market data requests

   To show prices, charts and coin logos, the app requests public market data from CoinGecko (api.coingecko.com and its image servers). These requests contain no personal information from the app, but like any internet request they reveal your device’s IP address to CoinGecko, which handles it under its own privacy policy. We do not receive these requests.

4. Support email

   If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to reply and delete it when it is no longer needed.

5. Children

   The app is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone.

6. Changes

   If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
