The ground rules.

These Terms of Use apply to the RapidbitBasic app for iPhone. By using the app you agree to them. Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

1. What the app is

   RapidbitBasic shows reference market data for crypto assets, calculates pace readings from that data, and provides a desk where you record spot entries, limit orders and converts for your own study.

2. The desk

   The desk is a personal record kept on your device. Desk cash and the holdings on your desk have no monetary value and cannot be deposited, withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for anything. The app does not buy, sell, hold or transfer any asset on your behalf, does not connect to exchanges, wallets or bank accounts, and does not execute orders anywhere.

3. No advice

   Nothing in the app, including pace states, alerts, Toolkit results and Guide articles, is investment, financial, tax or legal advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any asset. Pace readings describe past price movement and do not predict future prices. You are solely responsible for your own decisions.

4. Market data

   Prices, volumes, changes and logos are provided by CoinGecko through its public API. That data is the property of CoinGecko and its licensors. It is shown for reference, may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and may differ from prices on any particular venue. Your use of this data must comply with terms no less protective of CoinGecko than CoinGecko’s own terms of service (coingecko.com/en/terms). CoinGecko is not affiliated with RapidbitBasic, does not endorse it, and has no liability to you in connection with the app or the data; you use the data at your own risk.

5. Acceptable use

   Don’t misuse the app, attempt to disrupt it or its data sources, extract market data from it for redistribution, or use it in violation of any law.

6. Availability

   We may update, change or discontinue features at any time. We don’t guarantee that the app or any data source will be available or error-free.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

   The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app or reliance on its data.

8. Changes

   We may revise these terms. The current version is always posted on this page; continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
