How often do prices update?
About every five minutes while the app is open, and whenever you pull down on Home, Market, Trade, Pace or Desk. The status line at the bottom of Home shows the time of the last update.
What does “Saved copy” or “Sample” mean?
If a refresh can’t reach the price source, the app shows the last saved copy for up to 24 hours. Before any prices have arrived, sample figures are shown and labeled Sample, and entries wait until prices load.
How are pace states worked out?
The 7-day change divided by seven gives the average daily pace. A coin is Accelerating when its 24h change is at least 1% and at least twice that pace, Reversing when the last day (1% or more) runs against a 7-day move of 3% or more, Cooling when a 3%+ week has slowed to under half its daily pace, and Steady otherwise.
When does a limit order fill?
Open orders are checked each time prices refresh while the app is open. A buy fills at or below its limit, a sell at or above, and fills are recorded at the limit price. Cancel from Open orders to release what was set aside.
Do alerts arrive when the app is closed?
No. Price lines and the pace trigger are checked on refresh while RapidbitBasic is open and appear as a banner inside the app.
Can I keep a copy of my history?
Yes. On the Desk tab, Export shares a CSV file of every entry. Reset clears the desk, so export first if you want to keep a copy.
Where is my data stored?
On your iPhone only. Deleting the app deletes your desk, favorites and alerts.
